I served as Senior Director of Product Management for their Marketplace zone from April to December 2022. While there I oversaw development and go-to-market for the launch of a new Womenswear department that dramatically expanded TAM and seller inventory, improved activation rate and AUR, and generated necessary momentum for our acquisition by GOAT.

I led two cross-functional product development teams focused on activation, retention, and AI-backed content discovery initiatives. The product strategy we crafted focused on serving unique content curation generated by a blend of editorial expertise and machine learning.

As the second PM hired, I worked on nearly every part of the existing product, led the development of our iOS and Android apps, and oversaw our strategic transition from a traditional two-sided marketplace for tutoring to a true online learning tool. As eventual VP of Product, I built and led the company's product org while on our way to an acquisition by IXL Learning.
The Onion (and The A.V. Club)Satirical news and pop culture sites
As The A.V. Club's first PM hired, I worked with the editorial team to helm their transition from a print-first to a digital publishing model before shifting my focus to working on The Onion, developing Clickhole, a new CMS for all properties, and numerous ad products that supported our core business.
